One of the "additional" attractions in the Kościeliska Valley.
The trail (black) starts near the Ornak shelter, so it requires first walking the entire Kościeliska Valley (about 1.5 hours). It leads along a rocky path through an approximately 50-year-old spruce forest.
Walking time: 30 min, ↓ 20 min. For us, this is a special place, radiating peace and closeness to nature.
The edge of the pond is forested, partially marshy. Its waters, unlike the ponds found in the High Tatras, feature rich fauna and flora. Despite the surrounding trees, the nearby peaks are clearly visible from the pond's shore.
A must-visit point during a trip to the Kościeliska Valley.
